You’ll develop a healthier spine and additional endurance and flexibility, along with increased vitality and joy in your life.
Gentle Hatha Yoga with Linda Davis
Wednesdays, 10:15 - 11:30 a.m.
This class is ongoing and new students are always welcomed.
People often say that they think they are “too old, too stiff, or too heavy” to come to a yoga class. Not this one! "Every Body" will feel welcomed - and will probably grow younger, lighter and more flexible as time goes by.
This beneficial, enjoyable class is suited for beginning and intermediate level students as well as anyone who enjoys an easy pace.
Linda has been a student and teacher of yoga for many years. Her Teacher Training, in l998, was in Integrative Yoga Therapy, a Yoga Alliance Certified Training Program.
Linda also offers private Yoga, Yoga Therapy, t'ai chi or QiGong classes at $75/hour.
Hatha/Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Brooke Manor
Thursdays, 6-7:15 pm (beginning June 11th)
Brooke Manor is certified in group fitness, spinning and boot camp and is currently pursuing her Personal Training Certification. She studied and practiced Bikram Yoga for many years under the direction of Jimmy Barkan and his proteges. Brooke has degrees in Alternative Medicine and co-owns Roots N' Remedies, a natural wellness store on the square in Clarkesville. Brooke teaches a blend of Hatha and Vinyasa-style flowing Yoga. She believes in utilizing yoga practice to unite body, mind and spirit and to create harmony in our lives.
This class is well-suited for Advanced Beginners (those who have attended a few classes with any teacher and who have a basic understanding of yoga) up to Intermediate Level students.
Hatha Yoga (with Linda Davis & Brooke Manor alternating classes)
Saturdays 9:15 - 10:30 (beginning June 20th)
Well-suited for beginning to intermediate level students, this class fits the descriptions above for the classes offered by Linda and Brooke.
Cost for Yoga Classes: $12 for one class, $100/10 classes or $66 for 6 classes (to be used within 3 months). Classes ARE interchangeable.
T'ai Chi QiGong for Health
Mondays 5:00-5:45 p.m.
Practicing the ancient art of qiqong opens the flow of chi, or vital energy, in our bodies and is an exceptional self-healing technique practiced by millions of people worldwide. Qigong is sometimes referred to as “Chinese Yoga.” It is similar to our more familiar yoga in that it also tones the mind, body and spirit. Daily practice improves overall health and longevity and increases fortitude, strength and balance while reducing stress and promoting peace of mind.
No matter what your health or fitness goals, qigong can help you achieve them in a balanced, gentle way. People of all ages will benefit. The exercises take very little time, are low impact, fun, and easy to learn.
Cost for Qi Gong:: $10 for one class or $90 for a series of 10 classes (to be used within 3 months).
Vegetarian Supper
Mondays at 6:00 pm.
A light vegetarian meal will be offered in Mandala’s café’ at 6:00 pm following Qi Gong.
Cost of supper is $10.00 (including tax). Please reserve ahead and no later than Monday noon.
You are welcomed to come to Qigong, supper, or meditation – One, any combination, or all.
Mindfulness Meditation Group
Mondays at 6:45 - 7:30 pm.

Mindfulness Meditation teaches a compassionate, present-moment awareness, inviting us to wake up to a fuller, happier life. This 2500 year-old tradition derives from Buddhist philosophy but no special beliefs are necessary for its practice.
The class will include talks on developing wholesome qualities in ourselves such as patience, generosity, love and tolerance. Beginners and more experienced students will feel quite comfortable.
Cost: Linda offers this class on a donation basis.
